Hmmmm...where to start ? Short, filthy and quite, QUITE perverse...but that's enough about Luis DeJesus, I REALLY should talk about the film.
Made as an 8mm 'loop'; quite literally a loop of silent film only minutes long that ran continuously 'thru a projector in private booths at the back of 'adult' book & film shops mainly in the US of A in the perm-pomped, polyester-wearing 70's, most were straight sex, but occasionally something wacky would pop up...like this ! Oh, and, of course, Linda Lovelace's infamous 'Dogarama'.
Veri Knotty and Luis DeJesus star in this classic tale of boy meets girl much in the same vein as 'Brief Encounter'. Well, it would be if Dame Celia Johnson tied her flaps in a bow then Trevor Howard buggered her...that's the basic 'story'. Dirty little Luis spies on Veri doing her 'party piece' (see next paragraph) then the usual takes place ending with LDJ standing on a crate to penetrate Knotti's balloon knot. The 'Unique Selling Point' of this loop (apart from Knotti's knots) is that Mr. De Jesus is, err...a person of restricted height ? Vertically challenged ? Below average stature ? Lilliputian lacking loftiness ? Can I still say 'dwarf' nowadays ? Veri Knotty was a seasoned porn actress famous for her large labia which she can extend to a frightening width (making it appear as if she's suckling a good sized bat at her crotch) and even tie the aforementioned lady-lips in a knot (hence her porn-onym, 'Knot-ty')which she does at the start of the loop. Also known as 'Square Knot Sally' and 'Fanny Wolfe', I believe this was her first 'film'...her last film in 1986 was the playfully titled 'Cornholed Hussies'.
Luis DeJesus was an actor with a VERY interesting career. Starring in MANY porno flicks (his other classic porn was Gerard Damiano's puppet-porno 'Let My Puppets Come' later in '76), he actually managed to break into mainstream movies in a small way (sorry!). Although still working in porn, he also starred with Chevy Chase (a step DOWN from porn, if you ask me)in 1981's 'Under the Rainbow' about the off-screen antics of the Munchkins during the shooting of 'The Wizard of Oz' and was a background Ewok in the little-seen 1983 sleeper 'Return of the Jedi'. However, his main achievement is a starring role in Joel M. Reed's 1976 classic 'Bloodsucking Freaks' as Ralphus, the sidekick to Sardu, the master of the macabre.
I've given the film 8/10 because the part of the voyeur was played with gusto and verve and the girl had a delightful cameo role. A puckish satire of contemporary mores. A droll spoof aimed more at the heart than the head.
I will point out (yet again) it is a DWARF actor. I feel a bit stupid after shouting "MY GOD ! Look at the SIZE of that woman !".
