I have pretty much covered the groundwork of this "saucy little flick" (by 1912 standards) in the 'Summary' above (It was probably the "R" or "X" certificate release of its day!)
The seduction of a member of the clergy was not within the guidelines of "entertainment" in 1912 and in fact George Marlow had incurred the wrath of various sections of society with his stage play of the same name the previous year.
I am led to believe no copies of this film remain, save for some restored fragments. If any reader has an update on that I would be most interested to hear.
