X-Pac (Sean Waltman) was originally scheduled to defend the WWF European Championship against Steven Regal (Darren Matthews), but the match was canceled due to Regal being fired over failing a drug test after Survivor Series (1998). Instead, X-Pac challenged WWF World Heavyweight Champion the Rock (Dwayne Johnson) and lost by disqualification when Triple H (Paul Levesque) interfered.
Road Warrior Animal's (Joe Laurinaitis) final appearance on a WWE PPV while the company still had the WWF name. His next would be at WWE the Great American Bash (2005), three years after the World Wildlife Fund's lawsuit forced the name change to WWE.
Sable (Rena Lesnar) and Christian (Jay Reso) defeated Marc Mero and Jacqueline (Jacqueline Moore) when Sable pinned Jackie after the TKO (Mero's Fireman's Carry Diamond Cutter finishing move). After the match, Jacqueline jumped on referee Tim White's shoulders and started punching away at him. Sable pulled Jacqueline's shirt right off of her body, revealing that she was not wearing a bra. It was the first moment of out-and-out toplessness on a PPV, as opposed to the body paint Sable had worn at Fully Loaded (1998) in July, predating Miss Kitty/the Kat (Stacy Carter) celebrating winning the WWE Women's Title at WWF Armageddon (1999) by removing her bra and flashing her breasts by a year. Jacqueline escaped by hitting a Victory Roll on White.
The event took place at the now demolished London Arena and was a UK-only pay-per-view.
