Hello, my friends! It is I, D.J. Soft Batch, back to recap the second episode of season four of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. And, may I say, this season is kicking off nicely? Alliances are in place, reasons for war are nicely split between the incidents that have “already happened” and “have yet to happen on camera,” the new girls seem kooky and fascinating, and the Sisters Richards are in full villainous bloom. And may I say, it’s no small accomplishment for Kyle Richards to emerge as the most monstrous human who as ever lived on a season that features a cast member who is Actually Into The Dark Arts. Yes, Carlton is into some Satanic stuff and black magic we don’t know enough about yet to judge (call it a “Mysteri,” right?), but let’s begin at the beginning, with our pal Yolanda.A quick,...

Los Angeles — Seems Warner Bros. has taken movie marketing to a whole new level – even higher than a bird or a plane.
The studio enlisted Christian-focused firm Grace Hill Media to promote "Man of Steel" to faith-based groups by inviting them to early screenings and creating trailers that highlight the film's religious themes. They also enlisted Craig Detweiler, a Pepperdine University professor and author of "Into the Dark: Seeing the Sacred in the Top Films of the 21st Century," to create a Superman-centric sermon outline for pastors titled "Jesus: The Original Superhero."
"Let's consider how Superman's humble origins, his high calling and his transforming sacrifice point us towards Jesus, the original superhero," the notes read.
The tale of Superman has long been associated with religious allegories. "Man of Steel," which stars British actor Henry Cavill in the titular role, doesn't shy away from that theme, including portraying the character as 33 years old,...

Another indie drama is coming, so you better get ready for some Fast Life! We’ve just learned that Mischa Barton is set to lead Rock Jacobs‘ directorial debut which will revolve around an ad exec who falls in with an unsavory fast money crowd. Sounds awkward, but now when Barton is on board – we’ll give them a try! So, at this moment, the only thing we know about Fast Life is that the story will center on an ad exec who falls in with an unsavory fast money crowd, only to be drawn to its antithesis when introduced to an unimpressed young woman. And...

Last night’s episode of Nikita saw Michael, Owen and Nikita head to London to find one of black boxes in “Into the Dark”.
This was the first episode where Michael has switched “to the other side” and is now working with Nikita. I wasn’t sure what effect this would have on the show, the tension between Michael and Nikita has always been a big part of the show and now they’re together, this tension has gone. However, the episode was written very well and I love the new Michael (and the Mikita scenes are just a bonus)! I don’t think it is going to take long for Percy to realise something is going on, how many times can Michael keep making up excuses for not killing Nikita?

['Nikita' - 'Into the Dark']
After last week's climactic Michael/Nikita reunion, 'Nikita' viewers could've been forgiven for thinking that episode 18 might have had difficulty maintaining that breakneck momentum, but 'Into the Dark' proved a worthy successor to 'Covenants,' bringing back fan-favorite Guardian Owen (Devon Sawa) for another globetrotting black box mission.
But being an international man of mystery has its downsides, and in addition to struggling with the guilt he feels for the many people he's killed, Owen was also struggling with a debilitating addiction to an ominous Division regimen -- a set of performance-enhancing drugs that apparently come with some killer side-effects that even Nikita can't charm away.

"Into the Dark" was another solid episode of Nikita this week. The show really seems to be stepping up its game since the return from hiatus, not that it was lacking before.
I don’t say its improved solely because of Mikita, although there is undeniable, electric, sizzling chemistry between Shane and Maggie. Keep it coming, writers!
It was so nice to see Michael look at Alex differently. He really looks at her with love and protection. I also see a hint of curiosity in his eyes, and I’m hoping Nikita tells him Alex’s story.
He’ll probably be more inclined to help her once he knows. He might be the one who needs help from her next week however, as he unknowingly put himself at risk by taking the fall for Thom, who Amanda now believes was the mole.
Boy oh boy, are cleaners and guardians dangerous.
