Leah reaches over to turn off her alarm clock, set for 4:30 in the opening scene. However, if you look closely when she hit the button several times, you can see the time flashes to 12:00, showing that the alarm was never really set.
We see a chopper's-eye view of a sunlit New York City morning. In the next shot, we see that the time, according to Leah's clock radio, is 4.30am. The earliest that the sun rises in New York is around 5.25am in mid summer.
