As a child, she grew up with a sense of the Soviet Union as the second fatherland. As a young communist, TV2's film reviewer Mette Damgaard Sørensen attended party school in Moscow while Gorbachev was still in power. Despite the collapse of communism, she still believes that a left wing is needed.

Already at the age of 13, playwright Line Knutzon enrolled in Danish Communist Youth, DKU. Although she also left active politics very early, the red roots do not deny themselves. In February, Radioteatret broadcasts one of Line Knutzon's latest plays, which is, among other things, about being a communist.
