Storyline

- TriviaThe reason why the character models are not as detailed as in the first two was because this game contained fully 3D environments and ran at 60FPS. The extra details would have lowered the FPS down to 30.
- GoofsMr. Blanc runs out of ammunition in one of the cutscenes. Given that he is in Warring States Era Japan and therefore cannot find more ammunition for his pistol, he should not be able to fire it at all like he does.
- Quotes
Jacques Blanc: Samanosuke...
[Samanosuke turns around before taking off]
Jacques Blanc: Kick his ass.

An Awesome Game!!
I played all the Onimusha games and I have to say that this was the best! The combination of characters in two different time frames was well executed. I loved seeing Jean Reno's likeness and voice in the game. It had a real feeling to it and the adventure was intriguing and exciting. I highly recommend this game to anybody who likes RPG and action/battle games since it has a lot of hack n'slash in it to satisfy any player. I hope the next game has a good storyline and characters like this one! The Onimusha games kept getting better and better after each one. The first one was good, the second one great and the third one awesome! They really integrated all the characters smoothly and made them and integral part of the story, including Blanc's son and Michelle. The controls were smooth and easy to learn and master. The boss fights were OK. I kinda preferred the boss fights in Onimusha 2 since they were a bit harder to beat. Anyway, this is a game you must definitively must try out and the good thing about it is that you can get it pretty cheap in any game store, so you are getting real value for less. So pick it up and enjoy!
