This is an excellent little gem of a short. Are you honest with your emotions? When its not really about the puppy, do you ask you partner,'is this about the dog, honey, or is it about...? Wonderful enacting of an ageless story. I loved it.
The actors brought this story to full flower. Each element of the film is precisely targeted to its necessary effect. It's great to see a young team put together a multileveled exposition of the trauma of an unfulfilled life between a doomed couple.
Would a helicopter gunship improve this film? A helicopter gunship would improve any film. This film is so wonderful, the gunship is superfluous.
