How do you get a copy of this film.

I saw this film at the York Independent Film Festival 2001. I sat through a lot of films over two days - Including mine Trick or Treat. But after eight years, I can safely say that Quiero Morir has stuck with me as something I would dearly like to watch again.

Deals with moral dilemma and Justice. The film is shot beautifully and the performances are excellent

An assassin has killed a policeman family and now as he begs in his paralysed state to be put out of his misery, the policeman has to make the decision. Simple and very effectively carried out premise well done that man Toni Meca.

And by the way if you ever see this Toni - let me know where I can get a copy.

I WANT TO DIE! (aka Quiero Morir)

This is an independent short film written and directed by Toni Meca. Since the running time is only about fourteen and a half minutes, it really doesn't give the viewer much time to really get into the movie and really understand the characters. The plot revolves around an assassin and a policeman. We find that the assassin has killed the police officer's family and that the killer is now paralyzed. He begs the officer to kill him so that he can be put out of his misery, but the police officer goes through numerous moral dilemma's surrounding this request. One the one hand justice would be served but on the other maybe the killer would suffer more living than being dead. A very interesting premise one that I have not seen done well in a long time. Hats off to Toni Meca.
