The film will follow the couple from war-torn Iraq to the streets of Miami and back again, documenting their "impossible love" hindered by the war, their previous lovers and the tragic deaths in their family. Production is scheduled to begin this year. Stone Village president Scott Steindorff will produce the feature with Gittoes, while company execs Dylan Russell and Valeska Ramet will oversee development of the project. Gabrielle Dalton will co-produce. Stone Village also has purchased the life rights of the couple featured in the documentaries.
