At 3:34, when Granny comes back into the cabin, she is wearing glasses. At 3:50 when she approaches Jed and Elly, her glasses have mysteriously vanished.
Twice Elly comes to the door toting a 'stranger' over her shoulder. Both times it is clearly a stuffed dummy and not a real person.
Camera changes at 21:50. Jed, standing in a two-shot with Elly, holds his shotgun at mid-torso, but after the camera change he holds his gun up, level to his shoulders. Elly suddenly becomes 6" shorter as well. In the next camera change, Jed's shotgun is back down to his mid-torso.
When Jed first walks into his mountain shack, Duke the hound dog follows upon his heels, but when the scene changes from the exterior to the interior of the cabin, Duke has vanished.
Jed says that the Bible says that God works in mysterious ways. In fact the line "God moves in a mysterious way / His wonders to perform" is from "Light Shining Out of Darkness" by the English poet and hymnist William Cowper (1731-1800).
