- Ray and Robert make a tribute to Frank for his "Man of the Year" party at the lodge.
- When Frank's lodge buddies vote him "Man of the Year", Ray and Robert have to give a tribute to him. So they decide to make a video. Upon arriving at the lodge to interview the guys, Ray and Robert realize that the other lodge guys hate Frank. Since they couldn't get any kind words about him, they interviewed the lodge guys about chocolate and ended up heavily editing the video to make it seem like they were talking about Frank. But when the short video is shown at the party, Frank is upset when it becomes evident that everybody hates him.
- When Frank wins "Man of the Year" at his lodge, Robert and Ray are asked to make a video about him as a tribute to him before the award will be handed over to him. Ray wants to duck out of making the video, but Robert considers it to be an honor that Frank is being recognized in this way by his friends. Frank is very excited, and Marie wants Ray and Robert to take charge of organizing everything as she does not like that women are not allowed at the lodge, except at the time of tributes. Ray and Robert head over to Frank's lodge to interview some of his friends to make this video. None of Franks friends (like Abe (John David Conti) and others including Italians such as Garvin (Len Lesser) and Stan (Victor Raider-Wexler)) have anything nice to say about Frank and in fact say on camera that they do not like Frank Barone. Garvin says that Frank owes him 50 dollars and has been ducking for more than a year and a half and calls him a liar. Garvin says that Frank put a dent on his car, and he has witnesses. Garvin wants Frank to pay for the damages.
It seems like Man of the Year is a title that they give out to everybody at the lodge on a 1-year rotation basis. In fact, most members believe that the ranks are thinning out if they are down to him as their choice. Ray and Robert ask them about chocolate and then edit it out.
When Frank sees it, he is disappointed that his lodge buddies did not say anything nice about him and shows his anger at Ray and Robert instead. Frank storms out of the lodge and returns home and Marie follows her back. Frank is upset since the other guys got a tribute which were much longer (Tom Chervenak got a tribute that lasted 37 minutes), and people laughed and talked about how much they loved the guy and so on. Marie points out that Frank is wrong to blame Ray and Robert and the real issue is that Frank's buddies had nothing good to say about him.
Frank decides to quit the lodge and Marie supports his decision. Frank wants to know what Marie would say about him in a tribute. To lift Frank, Marie gives him a generous tribute. She says that they have been together for 42 years, with 2 wonderful boys and 3 beautiful grandchildren. Frank has always been there for the family and was a good provider.
But then Frank makes fun of Marie when she asks for a tribute in return. Frank says that sometimes she spits when she talks. Marie is angry and says that Frank is surrounded by people who love him, but he takes them for granted and gives them no love, no respect or attention. He just takes and takes. She says that one has to give love to get it. Marie says that in a marriage 2 people share things with each other, and discuss their problems. That night Frank tells Marie that he loves her, and they cuddle.
