Turns out some old farmer guy owns part of Camp Henderson and he has a house and a farm there. How he could have a house and a farm on Camp Henderson without anybody knowing it is pretty absurd, even for a show like Gomer Pyle USMC. This one is just too far fetched for me. I didn't enjoy it very much. The old farmer guy basically kicks the United States Marines in the teeth and they let him do it. Of course Gomer, being a country boy, gets along great with the old guy. That figures. There are a few small laughs here and there, but overall it's too crazy and absurd. And the old farmer guy yells more than Sgt. Carter! That gets tiresome. Of the episodes I've seen this might be my least favorite so far and I've seen quite a few episodes. Some people might enjoy it, but I hard a hard time. It wears thin.
