- When a 90 year old bank customer accidentally gets locked in the safe, police and bank officials panic when they realize the safe is in time lock mode for the weekend. They decide the only option is to get convicted bank robber Eddie Carew (Dean Jones) out of jail and let him crack the safe, offering him early release in exchange for saving the man inside. The problem is Eddie has other ideas, like robbing the bank at the same time. His girlfriend Sally (Sheilah Wells) knows Eddie too well, and tells him not to jeopardize their future. Eddie is torn between his girlfriend and the money, but in the end he cracks the safe, takes the money and escapes. Sally is crushed, and as the safe goes into auto lock mode, she puts herself inside the safe as it again locks up for the weekend. Eddie has to decide if he's going to take the money and run, or go back to save Sally, but is it too late? As seen on Retro TV Network, August 2009.
Note this particular episode of Kraft Suspense Theater is different than most others, in that it's played for laughs.
