Attempting to become a singer, Carmine writes and records a catchy dance song that catches fire, but the lyrics burn the ears of 1960s, almost militant, censorship.
Carmine writes and records a dance song called "Do the Hotfoot". A TV star "Bobby Botts" likes what he hears, but advises Carmine to change the title to the self-promoting "Do the Carmine". After the change, he performs the song on the star's show. The show is seen and the record heard by self-proclaimed censor "Dr. Knibble". He basically accuses Carmine of indecency, by what he "thinks" he hears when the recording is played backwards. Is Carmine's career over before it's begun?—happipuppi13
