Baynes Barron returns for his second consecutive Season 5 episode, once again as the main bad guy. The three Clanton Brothers use the old wooden gun trick to escape from prison. They begin a crime wave. The Ranger and Tonto are soon hot on their trail. Their search is hindered by two boys, one Indian and one white, who want to be just like their two heroes. The boys are also out looking to bring the outlaws to justice. In addition to Barron, the other two Clanton Brothers are played by Richard Crane and House Peters, Jr. Richard Crane was only a couple years removed from starring as Rocky Jones, Space Ranger. House Peters, Jr., was a familiar face on the Lone Ranger, appearing in a total of 12 episodes. An excellent outdoor episode with great color photography.
