Georgette Baxter: If you really wanted to marry me, you wouldn't talk about it, you'd do it.
Ted Baxter: Oh, I'd do it right now if I could.
Georgette Baxter: We can, Ted. We've had the blood test. We have the license and it's still valid. We can call and get a minister over here. We can call our friends and tell them to come over here. What else do we need? So what do you say, buster, you still wanna get married?

The wedding of Ted and Georgette
Mary hosts a "let's be nicer to Ted" lunch but Murray and Lou make their excuses so it is only Ted and Georgette in attendance. When Ted proposes marriage yet again, Georgette holds him to it: they will get married right now. Lou and Murray are summoned, as is Sue Ann who apparently keeps everything needed for an impromptu wedding on stand-by. A minister (John Ritter) is called to attend to an unspecified "emergency", and arrives in tennis gear.
Another strong, assured, straight-ahead comedy episode.
