When Chakotay draws a picture of Seven of Nine in the soil, he holds out an open palm, with nothing on it. In the very next shot, he shows the same open palm, but there are two small clods of soil on it.
When trying to find Seven while talking to the natives, Chakotay points to his right eyebrow trying to reference Seven's ocular implant. Seven has the implant over her left eye. It would have been more appropriate for Chakotay to point to his left eyebrow. However, he didn't do this due to the fact that his own eyebrow tattoo is located over his left eye, and the native people had already noticed and copied his tattoo by painting it onto their own faces. Pointing to his tattoo wouldn't have communicated that he was looking for someone else.
It seems odd that Chakotay takes the time to grab a large, apparently empty case during an emergency beam out but not an emergency medical kit.
Seven drops her tricorder but makes little effort to get it back. She admits to Chakotay that she has lost it but he doesn't care. Given all their talk about making a minimum impact on the local population, they don't even advise Voyager to locate it with the other shuttle parts to beam back to the ship when they leave.
Seven is usually very aware of her surroundings, yet when going through the woods to try to find a way to communicate with Voyager, she trips and falls twice.
While crashing and later on the surface, neither Seven nor Chakotay attempt to use their communicators to contact Voyager and let them know what has happened.
