It's certainly unique

This short film is currently posted on the Atom Films web site.

The film is exceptionally simple--with no dialog--just a story that unfolds in the most unusual manner. The two leads, a man and a woman, more forwards in the movie while everyone else moves backwards. It appears that much, if not all of the movie, was actually made by having the two actors do everything backwards and then the film was played backwards. However, a few times their motions were so fluid I wondered if in some scenes they actually filmed it forwards and later added them to the scenes shown in reverse. However they did it, it sure was visually arresting and unique--telling a very, very simple love story in a whole new fashion. A sweet and interesting experimental film.

LOVEly

I don't know how I was lucky enough to stumble onto this gem, but I will call it proof that the Internet is not entirely evil.

EVOL or LOVE backwards is a truly remarkable short film. It was filmed, I believe, entirely in reverse. If not, then almost entirely. The time it must have taken to coordinate it is mind-blowing.

Not only is it extremely interesting in that oddity, but the story is very sweet and the leads are divinely perfect in their roles. Lucy Barker and Rick Warden make my pores literally ooze and gush with cuteness. It's a good thing the film isn't any longer, or I would die of overdose.

I could watch it again and again, which I think I shall now...
