Lupin is caught, imprisoned and sentenced to death... but is remarkably unperturbed about his predicament.
Lupin and Fujiko pull off a heist, but in escaping Lupin is caught by Inspector Zenigata. Lupin, being a notorious criminal, gets the death sentence and is put in prison for a year's wait. Despite Fujiko's best efforts, she cannot break Lupin out of prison, and Jigen provides no help claiming that Lupin can leave whenever he wants. A year passes, and Lupin's execution day draws near.—Tenchi
Lupin and Fujiko successfully pull off a heist, till Zenigata shot Lupin with a tranquilizer dart. Zenigata for the first time ever, successfully caught Lupin with no problem at all. Lupin then was sent to a prison. Fujiko does all she can to get him out of prison but Jigen stopped her either way and told her that Lupin can be able to escape anytime. But a year past and Lupin didn't even tried to escape. His execution date is already set. Is Lupin's days coming to a near?—J LeGault
