Alone with Delia in his apartment, Roger suddenly realizes that he's become like Frank when Delia confesses that she no longer feels comfortable with him but rather feels like he's using her just as Frank does. Bucky expresses his concern to Jill that if the medical board revokes Seneca's medical license, he'll never be satisfied just doing research. Afterward, Jill receives grim news. A contrite Roger apologizes for hurting Dee and swears that he loves her, won't reveal their affair to anyone, and will back up Delia's lies to the Ryan family. Moved by Roger's change of heart, Dee falls into Roger's arms as he begs her to make love with him.one last time. Jill picks up Seneca from prison and delivers the bad news that his license has been suspended indefinitely. Seneca agrees to Jill's idea that they spend the weekend at the Coleridge beach house so that Seneca can have quiet time to contemplate his future. Frank enters Roger's apartment through the open terrace doors and finds Delia in Roger's arms.
