Discovering the north of Italy.
zutterjp489 November 2021
A travel with a lot of very interesting encounters and many beautiful landscape.

First important encounter: the olld town of Genova with it's narrow streets and it's little shop: a pleasant talk in a shop of chicken meat. When Philippe begins to visit the Cinque Terre he meets a Franciscan monk, a man full of kindness and humour who invites him to visit the monastery. A peacefull place for meditation except the noise of the trains. A short travl through Tuscany and a pleasant talk with a train controller. Later Verona with the Club of Juliet, a nice Italian woman who calls herself Juliet shows Philippe the Club of Juliet: hundred of women and men are sending letters to the club for some advice. Finally Venice: the arrival by train, the meeting with a very kind gondoliere, Giorgio, they through the old canals of the town. Later Philippe meets the brother ,Ivan ,who is fisherman and they go fishing crabs in the Venice Lagoon.

A very interesting documentary, very nice encounters with very kind people, who enjoy their lives, their landscapes and their works.
