Lex wakes up from his dream of Crisis and finds himself in his bed. His butler asks if he's hung over, and asks if Lex is all right. Lex wonders if he's dead, and his butler assures him that he's not. Lex goes to the window and looks out in surprise, realizing that he's saved the world. The butler points out that they're awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize, and Lex realize that he saved the world.
Lex goes downstairs and sees magazine covers posted on the wall boasting of his achievements. He finds Lena in his manor, sleeping in her bedroom, and realizes that the Monitor kept his world. Lex sedates Lane to keep her unconscious while he deals with some "family business", then meets with Lillian and tells him about Crisis. She isn't taken aback, and says that it's better to focus on the future. He explains that the Luthors are reversed in the world. Lex warns that Supergirl will remember the previously world, and Lillian tells him that Lex is too obsessed with eradicating the Kryptonians and that led to his demise before.
Lillian points out that on the new world, the Luthors are cool-headed. She suggests that Lex support Lena's effort, and she'll gravitate to him and away from Supergirl. Lillian asks if he can give up his pet vendetta and stay focused, and Lex tells her that he's a Luthor. He goes to Lena and tells her that she needs a partner, and they can accomplish so much together. Lena points out that he was Leviathan's puppet before, and tells him that Eve was working with Leviathan. Lex's sister explains that Leviathan has been behind many of the world's catastrophes, and Lex tells her that he's going to exterminate Leviathan.
Later, Lex goes to the ship and accesses its records on Leviathan. He finds a reference on Eve and brings up all the information on her. Eve is busy killing a man in a club when Lex comes in. Eve asks him what he's doing there, and Lex says that he's there to help her, she's brilliant, and when she turned down Leviathan they murdered her father and threatened her mother if she didn't work for them. Lex tells Eve that she's a good person, and he considers her worthy of his time. Eve says that no one can defeat Leviathan, and Lex asks her to trust him. She says that she doesn't want to kill anymore and gives Lex her gun, and asks what he wants from her. Lex says that he'll protect her as long as she considers infiltrating Leviathan and reporting to him. He kills the man Eve was attacking and says that he'll do her dirty work for her.
30 Days Post Crisis
Andrea continues developing Platinum, and Lex watches her advertisement. Eve reports that she couldn't get Gamemnae to take her to Leviathan's ship. Lex shows her a live feed of the house she grew up in, and two ex-Mossad agents guarding Eve's mother. Eve thanks him and he says that they need to find the killer who murdered her father. Eve tells him that she convinced Gamemnae that she would be most useful at Obsidian on the Platinum project. Lex congratulates her on her brilliant, and Eve tells him that their upgrade caused a glitch in Platinum. She's found a way to patch the glitch, and Lex tells her that's his plan. Brainiac-5 is retrieving a code to digitize the human psyche, uploading their consciousness into a computer. Lex figures that he can use it into reverse to remove Leviathan's immortality. He needs to get on their ship, which means that he needs Eve to get Gamemnae's trust. Lex explains that Leviathan needs to fix the glitch. Eve won't let them, and Lex will fix the glitch for Gamemnae so she'll trust him. Eve says that she'll make sure the glitch isn't fixed.
Lex goes to the bar where Richard Bates is drinking, and offers his help.
43 Days Post Crisis
Eve visits Lex and thanks him for her new apartment he got for her. She says that no one has ever treat he so well, and Lex says that he won't let Richard finish his virtual torture chamber until the time is right. Lex still needs to create trust with leviathan, and explains that they're going to help Amy attack Andrea and blow up Obsidian. Gamemnae won't ask Eve to kill anyone, because Lex will offer Supergirl to protect Andrea and Obsidian. He tells Eve to get Amy her gauntlets, and once Supergirl defeats Amy, it will earn him Gamemnae's trust and he'll suggests that they let him roll out Obsidian worldwide. Eve compliments Lex on his kindness, and Lex tells her that they have to stay focused on their goals and there will be time for them later.
Lex shows Eve test mice and demonstrates the Q-Waves on them. One of the mice disappears, and the other sits calmly in his hand. Lex says that his experiment worked perfectly.
30 Days Post Crisis
Supergirl fights Amy and manages to defeat her. Brainiac-5 calls Lex and tells him what is going on. Lex is playing chess against Lillian and tells her that the call isn't important.
Later, Eve takes Lex to the care center and shows him the people who are getting stuck into the VR. She told Gamemnae that they couldn't stop the glitch without shutting down the system, so Gamemnae assigned Margot to clean it up. Lex gives Eve a flash drive that will get him into the Obsidian system, bringing attention to their problems. He then gives Eve a vial of poison and tells her to give it to the man who murdered her father. Lex claims that Jeremiah killed her father, and the poison will make it look like an accident so as to not alert Leviathan's suspicions. He then tells Eve that he's going on his world tour selling the Obsidian lenses.
Lex travels through the world, promoting Obsidian. Alex defeats Richard, he goes into the urgent care, and Alex learns of Jeremiah's death. Andrea gives a press conference praising Lex's promotional efforts. Kata walks off in disgust and Lena goes aft6er her. Two Days Ago: 88 Days Post Crisis
At his manor, Lex is playing chess with Lillian. She figures that he's distracted, and Lex tells her that Lena apologized to Kara about Jeremiah's death. Lex is furious that he didn't see how Jeremiah's death would drive Lena back to Supergirl, and worries that he's slipping. He figures that he'll set up Supergirl, and explains that he'll use a Sun-Eater to turn Lena against Supergirl. Lillian reminds him that she asked him if he had the strength of will to overcome his hatred, and tells him that it's a display of weakness. Lex insists that it's inspiration, not weakness, checkmates Lillian and leaves.
Outside, Lex calls Eve and tells her that it's time to activate William. He wants her to have her contact identify the name that William saw on the medical bracelet he found, and then move the bodies.
Kara, Alex, and Kelly are at Kara's apartment eating dumplings and talking about Jeremiah's death. Kara is reading Lena's book with interest, and suggests that Lena might be coming around and seeing the light about Lex. William arrives with baked goods and asks for help with a story on Lex and Obsidian. He says that he and Kelly both thought Lex might be involved, and he found the medical bracelet. The bracelet belongs to Richard, and the hospital has no record of Richard being admitted.
Alex goes over Kelly's list of Obsidian users stuck in VR. Across the street, Eve watches and smiles in satisfaction. She then gives Lex video of the conversation, and he shows it to Gamemnae. He warns that Leviathan's plans aren't at risk, but Lex says that the lenses will be recalled before Leviathan can use them to kill the masses. He says that he can stop William and the others if Gamemnae loans him Leviathan's stealthiest operative.
Lex visits Brainiac-5 and gives him a gift. Brainiac-5 reminds Lex that he was supposed to get the location of Leviathan's ship, and says that Alex wants him to track the missing VR users. Lex says that Leviathan is behind the disappears, and Brainiac-5 asks for the cube so he can track Leviathan. His ally says that he can't because then Leviathan would realize that he's their enemy. However, Lex tells Brainiac-5 that he should help his friend track the Q-Waves by asking Supergirl to provide something from the Fortress.
Supergirl goes to the warehouse and reports that it's empty. John says that he tried to pick up a telepathic trace but something is interfering. Brainiac-5 arrives and says that the Obsidian lenses operate on a similar frequency to Q-waves, and suggests that John can use Myriad to suppress the Q-Waves and track the psychic signature. Supergirl agrees, flying to the Fortress.
Lex approaches Lena as she accumulates data on the comatose patients. She picks up a signal that someone is suppressing Q-waves, and assumes that Supergirl is using Myriad to interfere with her experiments. Lex says that he can go to the Fortress and shut down Myriad, and tells Lena that the El protocol won't be in effect because Luthors and Els are allies in the new world. Lena insists on going there with Lex, and Lex gives her hits teleportation device. She goes, and the invisible Morae goes with her.
Lena confronts Supergirl as she uses Myriad, and Supergirl says that she's using Myriad to suppress the Q-waves and locate the missing comatose users. They argue about whether Supergirl is treating Luthors as villains, and Supergirl tells Lena that she's trespassing and should go. Lena refuses to go unless Supergirl stops using Myriad, and Supergirl refuses to stop using it. Lena teleports away and the Morae releases the Sun-Eater from its cell before Supergirl can stop him.
The Sun-Eater flies to National City, and Brainiac-54 realizes that it's the baby from the Fortress. They're unable to reach Supergirl, and Brainiac-5 speculates that the Sun-Eater stunned the Kryptonian. He says that they can use a Lexosuit from the DEO to stop the Sun-Eater if they recalibrate it, M'Gann arrives from Mars saying that John's brother felt the Q-waves on Mars and can send her. She offers her ship's hydrogen weapons to stop the Sun-Eater, and John leaves with her to save the sun.
Across the world, people use the Platinum Lenses to plug into the network, and watch the Sun-Eater advance toward the sun. J'onn flies into the Sun-Eater but it knocks him back. Supergirl arrives wearing a Lexosuit, grabs the missile, and throws it into the4 Sun-Eater. She then detonates it with the Lexosuit's weapons, causing the gigantic Sun-Eater to shrink so that they can capture it.
Lex looks at the solar flare and goes into the warehouse with Eve moved the bodies.
M'Gann interrogates the Morae and it says that it works for Leviathan. John picks up the psychic trial of the imprisoned VR users. He then "saves" the people and kills Margot, and the police, Supergirl, and John arrive. Lex tells Supergirl that she might see that he's always been the heroes. He figures that Supergirl and her friends deal with Sun-Eater, and Supergirl says that Leviathan released it. Lex tells her that if they worked with him, they might be able to defeat Leviathan.
Later, Gamemnae confronts Lex in his office and accuses him of killing Margot. He readily admits that he did and it's unfortunate, but she had to die. Gamemnae tells him that he's nothing and immobilizes him with a burst of energy, then release him and demands an explanation. Lex tells her that he moved the patient and pinned their existence on Margot, and now no one suspects Obsidian anymore. Gamemnae admits that he might have been right to kill Margot, but Supergirl has the Morae in custody. Lex claims that he underestimates Supergirl and his team, but now he knows that Leviathan's plan was correct. He says that they should kill Supergirl immediately because she will always foil Leviathan's plans, and tells Gamemnae that no mere mortal can kill Supergirl. Gamemnae says that she won't fail and leaves.
That night at his manor, Eve makes Beef Wellington for Lex and says that they finally have a night to spend as a couple. She admits that she loves him, and Lex tells Eve that she's a sad, silly woman for thinking he could love her back. Eve doesn't understand, insisting they're destined to be together, and Lex tells her that on his original Earth, she distracted him and made him weaker. He says that the people watching Eve's mother are his, and they'll kill her if she doesn't remain loyal. Lex also tells Eve that she killed Supergirl's father, and has video of Eve killing Jeremiah. If she defies him, he'll give the video to Supergirl. When Eve says that he's worse than Leviathan, Lex tells her that he's better.
Afterward, Lex calls Lillian and tells him that all of his plans have succeeded... and he did it his way. He then brings up the coordinates of the Fortress from the device Lena used, and teleports there and looks at the Kryptonian technology on display.
