To ensure the girls are working efficiently, Fenner moves his desk into the workroom, efforts are made to send him back to his office. Miss Clayton is interested in buying a new range of cocktail dresses, Fenner insists the girls complete the sale.
Definitely one of the show's best episodes, Safety Precaution is a real classic, I always wondered why Fenner didn't move in ages ago. You know what's coming, but it works well nonetheless.
The fire test was a funny scene, although health and safety wasn't quite so big a deal back on 1962 as it is today.
Daily Laye is excellent here, what a comedy pedigree she had, she looks fabulous too.
