Essential documentary to understand Brazilian military dictatorship
guisreis17 September 2020
While having a very simple format, this documentary about state terrorism in Brazilian military dictatorship is quite strong due the details it researches and is able to make a former agent of repression say. It is basically an amazing interview (what a good interviewer is pychologist Eduardo Passos!) and a psycopathic former police chief and state repressive agent now turned church minister, who could not help but showed no emotions, beig hard to believe he has any regret for his his crimes. Many important information is given on the secret and illegal but official character of repressive activities, on the technology and logistics of murdering, torturing and making corpses vanish, on the core participation of businessmen in financing and organizing those crimes togetter military officers, on the responsibilites of CIA and British intelligent agency, on the survival of practices and schemes from military dictatorship nowadays and buninessmen and freemasons' acting, on the cruelty of repressive agents, on their behaviour codes and habits, on their partnership with organized civilian crime after the end of authoritarian regime, on the fears abd concerns inside criminal state agents' minds. One of the essential documentaries to understand Brazilian military dictatorship.
