Pastor Craig tells Glenn that it will cost $1000 to get Myrtle into heaven (not-so-coincidentally the same amount of money Myrtle left for Jonah which Jonah then passed on to Glenn). This notion is known as purchasing indulgences, something very common in the Catholic church centuries ago. Martin Luther started the Protestant Reformation because he did not agree with Catholic practices that didn't align with the bible, purchasing indulgences among them. Glenn has previously professed to be a Lutheran (an offshoot of Protestantism), though this is one of many instances of generally "Christian" behavior being assigned to Glenn and his church that doesn't actually align with Lutheranism.
The drink that the employees drink to toast to Myrtle at the end of the episode is the "Rusty Spaniard". This is the drink that Myrtle orders at the bar in the season 2 episode "Ladies Lunch".
