A painting is stollen from a pub, Old Lill, at a time where the owner, Melanie Montague is attempting to renew the pub's lease from developer Stephen Capulet. Suspected is local Ghost Hunter Penelope Lawrence.
Pretty silly this one, it's of course light hearted, but the balance was a little too much in the favour of the comedy than the drama. It's like a Carry on Film mixed in with Most Haunted, with The Librarian from Dear Ladies (Hinge and Bracket.)
Is Viola the only member of The Police on duty?
Penelope Lawrence, Ghost Hunter was great fun, and Richard Lintern added a touch of class, as he so often does, fresh from his role in Silent Witness.
It was somewhat obvious from the first few minutes who the guilty party was, it was decent, but others in the series have been way better. 6/10
