The scenes for the drama and comedy segments were shot back-to-back. In most cases the drama segment was shot first, to allow the actors to focus on that performance, and after a five to ten minute break, the comedy segment of the same scene would be shot. As the actors had their drama performances out of the way this allowed for a much more loose and relaxed environment on set for the comedy.
