The director Manuel S. Umo and his crew shot this film in Mexico, during the unprecedented times of the world pandemic. While it was a tough time for the town where they were filming, the crew were all surprised when the locals showed up offering to assist with the production. Everybody brought their pick up trucks, their horses, and everything they could to help move things forward on a daily basis.
