FRONTLINE always offers an accurate & researched approach to important topics. This expose was enlightening as it addressed discrepancies between how Washington State dealt with COVID vs. Washington, D. C.! SEATTLE was prepared because their government & health officials were watchful/well informed far before COVID reached our country! When the first U. S. case was diagnosed there, their emergency drills paid off ! The CDC & our federal gvt learned nothing from this shared information. A situation that could've been controlled sooner was caught up in bureaucratic B. S. thanks to presidential ignorance & failure to respond immediately! Loss of lives might've been prevented if the CDC & TRUMP had heeded warnings from SEATTLE & WASHINGTON STATE! They were after all the frontline (literally) in our country's war against this pandemic. A SOBERING LOOK AT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT'S FAILURE TO PROTECT & SERVE IT'S CITIZENS!

A dangerous and deadly pandemic that we weren't prepared for.

When I first heard of the Corona Virus aka COVID-19, I didn't think that this pandemic would spread potentially across the world and especially in America. But it has. Former President Donald J Trump and his running mate did whatever it took to take control of the pandemic. Some Americans said that he did an excellent job and some others said that he did a lousy job. As soon the pandemic hit my home state of CT, that's when all Hell broke loose. Some citizens of CT became victims of the pandemic and recovered however unfortunately some didn't recover and died. Such as my primary health care physician. I myself was tested for the pandemic and came out negative. The pandemic at times put me in a temporary depression. In October Last year, I couldn't go to my high school in Newington CT because my pulmonologist doctor put me in a lockdown. Despite my temporary depression, I found comfort within my Catholic Christian devotions. Such as The Holy Rosary, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Stations of the cross and The Chaplet of our Lady of Sorrows. At times I felt a little emotionally upset and almost started crying. But the Blessed Virgin Mary encouraged me to not to give up. By the spring of 2021 came, I got fully vaccinated and I felt relieved of getting it. However, I feel like the pandemic isn't over yet because there's a new dangerous form of this pandemic. But at least I got vaccinated. However the battle against the pandemic is still continuing and various doctors and scientists are trying to put the pandemic in a lockdown so it won't do any more damage. Various peoples of different religions are praying that this pandemic will cease to exist. With my Catholic Christian devotion, the Holy Rosary. I'm still sincerely praying that the pandemic will come to a halt. And I have the feeling that the battle isn't over yet but soon. And there's civil war between vaccinated people and anti vaccinated people. I sincerely hope and pray that the pandemic will cease to exist and become less of a threat and the civil war between vaccinated people and anti vaccine people will come to a halt.
