A young woman buys an antique bathtub and begins to have visions. The underwater scenes are nicely done and very disturbing. Good ending, which I didn't quite expect.

First film directed by Morten Haslerud and a pretty good start if you ask me. This is a tale as old as time- girl find antique bathtub, girl falls in love with antique bathtub, girl brings antique bathtub home with her, bathtub causes hellish thing to happen to girl.

The lead, Christiane Schaldermose, really sells this short film. It managed to make me genuinely jump in my seat twice - which is a pretty good pay off for just 12 minutes of film.

a bathtub

One of old fashion like short horrors, in which the light has the basic role, the taxidermy is minimalistic and the return to the soul of objects - in this case a bath - works more than inspired.

A young woman fascinated by an old bathtube. The talk between seller and woman offeres all details as frame of story.

An isolated cab. A bath in new acquisition and bizarre things. The ignored boyfriend becomes more than useful in the new situation. And a splendid crafted fight under water .

Old/ familiar myths. And not so surprising end. In short, admirable work detail by detail. And inspired atmosphere defined by gray tones .

Admirable work of Christiane Schaldemose.
