- Lucas and Julian are visited by Paul to finally pick a director. He gives them a deadline. By tomorrow night they must pick from one of the six mediocre directors that they have already seen, or Paul will choose. They soon get a visit from the original director, Adam Reese. And then, so does Paul. Meanwhile Nate continues to warm the bench while the star player, Devon Fox, loses game after game. Nate visits the coach to talk about playing time, but soon finds out how pointless it is. Jamie feels the need to help and makes a phone call. During a game timeout, the coach wants Fox to pass the ball to another player to take the shot. Fox refuses and the coach replaces him with Nate. Things are really heating up for Brooke and Julian until Peyton bursts her bubble about the real Julian. After a surprise meeting with Paul, Peyton finds out the real truth about Julian and tells Brooke to give him another chance. Mia finally finds something to write about, thanks to her new flame, Chase. Peyton surpises Haley with the good news. Lucas shows Haley Peyton's new engagement ring to get input, and soon finds that Peyton would rather have Keith's ring.
