Fantastic ending to the first arc
marianantvg18991 January 2021
I must say I wasn't really invested in the first episodes of this anime, but immediately after the Mahito's arc started, I couldn't held my breath. This episode bursts out in action, with superb animation and compelling characters (they have weaknesses and clear objectives).

I can't wait to see what else this anime has to offer.

It was a fair end, with nice visual and movements but the most important that the story keep getting better hope it's continue like that.

Stunning

Warning: Spoilers
Apart from the fact that everything was great, Mahito's domain expansion visualization was nothing short of a masterpiece, took the manga to new heights

Great conclusion!

This was an amazing and breathtaking episode that continues of greatly from the previous episode as well as giving us a memorable end to this part of the story!

This episode is mostly action and its intense and good-looking! At this point we know our characters and this episode also shows us just who they are and what their ideals and goals are! This just means you are getting more and more invested!

I loved how creative this fight was! Some amazing action and I love how the fight keeps evolving as well as some great pacing that balances action with character development!

Now I can not wait to see where the story goes!

It's the questions regarding us as humans
rohanr-6241630 December 2022
The animation may be so stunning it makes your heart ripple with anticipation. The plot may be so riveting it makes your eyes swell in suspense.

But many anime and manga achieve brilliant art and suspenseful plot. Yet it is rare that such an episode can accomplish these and ask a question so richly related to our human condition.

This arc feels from another series entirely in its exploration of life, purpose and the absurd and I hope more manguka will play close attention to this horrific and gory representation of the soul and the heart and start to ask if they too can merge story and theme so wonderfully.

An amazing follow up to the best episode in this series so far

Warning: Spoilers
While this episode didn't have the same emotion and cool action as the last one it still had both of those and it gave us a backstory for the serious guy. Itadori also continues to learn more and more about the reality of what being a jujutsu sorcerer means and that he will be forced to kill people in his time. Also I was annoyed that mr patch face got away I wanted him to die. Anyway amazing episode 9.4/10.

Losing interest again
Groverdox10 November 2023
The thirteenth episode of "Jujutsu Kaisen" features Yuji's battle with the stitch-faced curse, Mahito, coming to an end by stalemate.

Despite looking merely like a human being, albeit one covered in stitches, Mahito can deform his body at will, growing much larger, then smaller, and elongating his limbs.

At one point he swells up into a figure that reminded me of the stay-puft marshmallow man from "Ghostbusters". Yuji ends the fight with a massive punch to his enormous middle, but Mahito doesn't die. He merely retreats.

There's some more stuff in this episode about Nanami's daily life as a stockbroker, that I didn't really understand. It didn't teach me much about it.

Then there's some typical anime soul-searching from Yuji, which, of course, just ends in him resolving to be an even bigger good guy than before.

I've kind of lost interest in this show again, and don't know if I'll continue watching it.
