Luke's character is awful quite frankly and hopefully not relatable. I mean who would ever break up their parents? Clearly, Martin Freeman's character hasn't been the best father out there (he had his moments, but overall he was a good dad!) , but no kid has the right to do that because they don't like one of their parents.

Luke character is awful

I can't watch this show anymore. The way the child, Luke is prioritized over the father is horrendous. He is a spoiled undisciplined brat who got caught lying. And the solution is the dad moves out? No freaking way. Won't watch season 3.

The second series ended with more a whimper than a bang . Series 1 seemed a good , solid start to be built upon , but this hasn't happened . If anything it's been disappointing , there have been laughs but not as many . The series has gone down a cul-de-sac with the nonsense about Luke's supposed " illness " . Regular viewers would no doubt , have cheered if one or both his parents had murdered him . Indeed this seems to be the only way the writers can extricate themselves, having created TV's most hated ever character . He really is unremittingly awful , he spoils every scene he's in and the ludicrous way he's dealt with , lessens the series as a whole .
