Two of One Piece strongest characters clashing! Roger vs Whitebeard!

Epic episode! It started off with Orochi's back story and how he usurped the throned from Oden which made us hate him even more. Then it finishes off with showing the true power of the late Pirate King Gol D. Roger who fought both Oden and Whitebeard. Fantastic animation from this scene, I just can't wait for next week where the anime extends the fight!

Perfect Execution

This episode had the Most Powerful "to be continued" I've seen in a while. The animation during the last five minutes went up and up and out of the world, that color scheme and devilish look of Roger and Whitebeard had me hyperventilating. Better luck next time,Oden . But why so many kids in these reviews tho? Control your hormones (idk u're probably not old enough to have them) and your grammar. School comes before entertainment you know. Get some life lessons and maturity.

Just... WOW...

After 965 episodes and 22 long years of this anime, we got a chance to finally witness Roger in combat and it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT. The first 17 minutes of the episode gives us a good sense of Orochi's backstory and just how far he'll go to achieve his vengeance, then the last 4 minutes is purely for epic spectacle. We see just how intimidating and powerful Gol D. Roger truly is by him swiping Oden away as if he is a novice to battle and then getting to see the Haki showdown between him and Whitebeard. Toei has truly revived this anime with their style of animation and I am extremely excited to watch all of the upcoming fights. Very pumped and hyped for the future of the One Piece Anime.

What can i say? Classic One Piece greatness. We get the first half with orochi's backstory which was perfect and at the end of the episode we get this crazy animated clash. The animation was so good that it should be illegal for a weekly anime. Never seen clean animation like that before. Thanks to Katsumi Ishizuma. Crazy how One PIece's animation can easily match seasonal shows.

WHAT A EPISODE, NONE OF THE MAIN CAST WE'RE IN THIS EPISODE FOR EVEN A SINGLE MINUTE AND I DON'T THINK ANYONE REALISED. This is what happens when u are so good at world building and building up legends such as Roger and whitebeard ur audience will never feel bored even if the main cast don't show up in the next 20 episodes arguably the best episode of the entire anime what a clash between two legends and orochi's backstory was presented in a brilliant way which isn't getting talked about much because of the big clash but orochi's backstory was something we needed and will be very important later on we can see why he is who he is but it's still no excuse for what he has done also the pacing and animation has been so good this entire arc one piece has the best art and animation in 2021 better then all these new gen shows
