I understand that the anime has changed a lot since the beginning of this season, but man, this episode was very good, coming back from where it all started, the message of union and this "prison break" atmosphere, honestly, I loved this episode, and I know who did things very quickly and removed a lot of elements from the manga, but I think it was done well, I just wish they had divided into 2 episodes, I would get more adrenaline.

Yet another let down
SharpMint20 March 2021
It is such a shame that a story with this much potential gets rushed this way.
The material from this episode could easily be developed across an entire season and instead is delivered as if it was a summary of a show we'll never get to watch, with each plot twist having no buildup and every event loosing its relevance.
Truly a shame.
Underwhelming and predictable

Warning: Spoilers
Wow, I am lost for words. I didn't have high hopes for the penultimate to begin with, so I'm not exactly surprised it turned out this bad. The episode was so predictable that you're not even remotely surprised when anything happens.
First of all, the escape plan was dumb. Anyone could have figured out that the hot air balloons had some kind of trap set up. Like, really? That's the best plan they could think of? Planting bombs on the hot air balloons? It's a stupid idea, and should have never worked.
Secondly, I guess Norman is an advanced hacker now. He's able to disable security and close gates like it's nothing. Have we ever seen Norman use computers until now? No, it doesn't make sense.
My last problem with the escape plan is that the kids were able to fight against multiple demons like it's no challenge. In season 1, Isabella was the kids' only threat, and they couldn't beat her. Now, they can beat multiple demons? I think we have a serious case of plot armor.
Now, to talk about Peter Ratri. He is a terrible villain. Why doesn't the main villain of the season get more screen time? Why don't they give us his motivations? Peter is just a shallow, one dimensional character. In season 1, Isabella was a great villain. She was two dimensional, and she was scary, too. Peter is not intimidating in the slightest.
Now, the ending. The ending was absolutely ridiculous. An whole army of reinforcements can't stop civilians, for Pete's sake?! The reinforcements have weapons to stop the civilians, and the civilians are unarmed! Yet somehow they're able to get past thousands of reinforcements.
The only thing I liked about this episode was when Isabella betrayed Peter Ratri. I felt like it suited her character, because deep down, she loves the kids. All in all though, this episode sucked.

Last few episodes saved the season

Episode 6 and beyond have definitely saved the season, especially this episode. The entirety was exciting and left me at the edge of my seat by the end of the episode, it had amazing plot twists, and had very emotional moments. I wasn't too sure about this season before, but after this episode and the other last few episodes, I can easily say that this is still my all time favourite anime. Cant wait for episode 11!
