Dark Side of the Ring always delivers in quality and narrative. I think they did a pretty good job at balancing both the horrible aspects of Warrior as well as a few of his endearing moments. I wish they would've brought in more wrestlers to talk about what it was like working with warrior. I love Jake Robert's, but honestly with what he was going through in the 80s and 90s I don't know that he had any place to cast aspersions towards anyone. Overall I think they could've used a couple more perspectives, but it was a good general look at Warrior from the start of his career to the almost story book ending of his life.

The downfall of the warrior as he becomes to much like him.

Another revealing yet dark, disturbing, "Dark Side of the Ring" episode was "Becoming Warrior" as it showcased the rise and fall of the "Ultimate Warrior". From interviews, clips, and recreations, it was an interesting watch seeing how he once started and wanted to be a back doctor, only after having a fine and muscle bound and toned up body, he started body building only to be told he could make more money as a professional wrestler. So he started in "World Class Wrestling" as the "Ding Warrior" and was shown well for his big body, size, and super strength and he introduced the colorful war paint. And Vince saw a big meal ticket for the "WWF" in 1987 and he was transformed with even more imagination into the hype and oversized blow up of one "Ultimate Warrior". Only soon jealousy, affairs, ego, and money went to his head. Soon he wore out his welcome with Vince. Only then the pain and the ego his character had taken it's ugly toll as after his retirement and "WWE" Hall of Fame induction it all ended quick and soon. Sad he was such a cursed warrior.
