- We open on bright red lips (played by Santana) singing the opening of "Rocky Horror Picture Show." We see the title: "Rocky Horror Picture Glee Show."
Rachel (Lea Michele) takes the stage as a young Susan Sarandon-Janet in a rain storm. She and Finn (Cory Monteith) sing about the light over at the Frankenstein place. The rest of the club pops up from behind gravestones.
And then suddenly Carl (John Stamos) interrupts, asking Will (Matthew Morrison) if he's messing with his woman. Voice Over Will wonders how a production of Rocky Horror turned into his horror. He says it started a week ago.
Will joins Emma (Jayma Mays) for lunch. She's thrilled she forgot to cut the crusts off her sandwich. She and Carl went to the midnight Rocky Horror and she didn't even mind the spilled soda on every surface because they were having so much fun. She says they're even going to dress up for Halloween.
Voice Over Will realizes Carl is winning.
He blurts out the Glee club is doing Rocky Horror for the school musical. "Who knew that Rocky Horror was so important to both of us?" he says.
She reminds him how racy it is and doubts Sue (Jane Lynch) or Figgins (Iqbal Theba) will go for it.
Will comes to class and announces the plan. He has permission slips and has cut out risqué sections. They're going to charge admission and use the money to get to nationals. Rachel volunteers she and Finn for Janet and Brad.
Artie (Kevin McHale) assumes he'll be playing "the guy in the wheelchair." Will wants Kurt (Chris Colfer) as Frankenfurter. Kurt refuses to play a transvestite in fishnets.
Mike (Harry Shum Jr.) volunteers. Will wants Sam (Chord Overstreet) to play the creature.
Rachel leads Finn through rehearsal. "I have no idea what's going on in this script and it's not in a cool-Inception kind of way," he admits.
Finn balks at appearing in his underwear. Rachel reassures him he's the hottest guy in school.
On TV it's time for "Sue's Corner." She says we've lost the true meaning of Halloween: fear. She suggests moms tell kids daddy's a hungry zombie.
In Sue's office the next day, two men introduce themselves them as Barry Jeffries (Meat Loaf) and Tim Stanwick (Barry Bostwick), the local station managers at WOHN. They rave about her news take infused with fear. She finishes off her perfectly carved pumpkin -- in her own likeness.
They tell her about the staging of Rocky. They want her to do an expose on it.
In rehearsal, Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany (Heather Elizabeth Morris) freak Finn out. They cannot wait to see him in his undies, expecting a hot mess. They start performing "Dammit Janet."
Kurt plays Riff Raff, Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Quinn (Dianna Agron) are back up. Sue drops by and calls Will into the hall. She says she appreciates how the show pushes boundaries and wants to be involved. Will suggests she play the criminologist. She has a few rewrites.
In the gym, Sam tells Finn about his strict diet and tells Finn there's no way he's staying popular if he looks like the Pillsbury Doughboy on stage.
In Emma's office, Will asks her for costume help. He says they'll have to spend a lot of time together. Mike Chan drops by and says his parents won't let him dress like a tranny so he has to quit.
Will drops by Sue's office to tell her they'll have to cancel with no Frankenfurter.
Later, Sue drops by Emma's office and meets Carl, who claims to be a huge Rocky Horror fan.
Cut to Carl auditioning for Will and the class singing "Hot Patootie/Bless My Soul" and dancing it up with Emma as Will twitches. Carl dances and gets the whole class into it.
After, Sue points out they don't need an Eddie. They need a Frankenfurter. Mercedes volunteers.
At dress rehearsal, Finn still isn't ready to strip to his undies. Sam is in his gold hot pants and wonders if he could get some gold board shorts because he's afraid of showing some "nuttage."
They go through "Sweet Transvestite from Sensational Transylvania" with Mercedes vamping and tramping it up. (Will and Emma finish the "-pation.")
Then Carl busts through the wall a couple scenes early.
Later, Will tells Emma that Carl is a problem, or rather, he identified one. He says some of the parts are too adult for the kids. So Will figures he should play Rocky. He wants Emma's help rehearsing "Toucha toucha, Touch me."
Santana and Brittany spy from outside the classroom, singing chorus. Emma sings the Janet part, pressing up against Will and ripping his shirt off. (Sample lyric: "Touch me, I wanna feel dirty.") She ends, gripping his chest then immediately runs out.
In the gym, Sam tells Finn he's not playing Rocky anymore. He tells Finn to just be confident and he'll be fine. Finn walks off, going to show everyone how "hot and sexy" he is.
They rehearse without Finn, who's a no show.
Figgins comes by. In his office, Will learns Finn was suspended -- for walking down the hall in his Rocky Horror costume. Cut to Finn walking down the hall in his tennis shoes and boxers. He says he was trying to get comfortable in his costume. Figgins is recommending one month suspension.
Will talks him down to a warning. Figgins wonders why Will is doing the show, because if he gets in trouble he's on his own. "I want you to be sure that whatever you're doing it for is worth it," Figgins says.
Cut to Carl interrupting rehearsal to ask if Will is messing with his woman.
Becky comes by Will's office trick or treating. She calls Rocky Horror "an abomination," quoting Sue. She takes Will to Sue's office to see her Sue's Corner, making an oddly reasonable plea for decency in the schools.
Will confronts Sue, accusing her of setting him up. But he can't disagree with her. She says he crossed the line and reminds them they're kids.
He says she's right and will cancel the show.
Will sits on the stage with Emma, admitting he only put on the show to get close to her. He apologizes to her and says Carl is actually making her better and being with him is good for her.
Will apologizes to the kids, saying the show wasn't for envelope-pushers, it was for outcasts. He says they'll still put it on, but only for themselves.
Cut to Kurt as Riff Raff starting off "Time Warp," with direction by Artie, singing by Quinn as Magenta and the whole club doing the dance. They get a standing ovation from Will.
