Mads Mikkelsen ("Hannibal," "Casino Royale") is set to star in Diego Rafecas' drama "First Law". Set in the jungles of Argentina, Armand Assante and Adriana Barraza co-star.
Based on a true story, the plot centers on two brothers — one under the wing of a shaman, the other working for a corrupt corporation — who must choose where their loyalties lie when their ancestral home faces destruction. [Source: Deadline]

Larenz Tate, via the production company he runs with his brothers Laron and Lahmard (TateMen Entertainment), will produce an indie period drama titled Sylvie's Love, which Larenz will also star in. The feature project will be directed by Eugene J. Ashe, from his own script. The 1950s/60s NYC-set Sylvie’s Love centers on a young woman fighting to stay loyal to her fiancée who's off fighting a war in Korea, when she falls for a larger-than-life Harlem saxophonist (played by Tate).
