- The pressure is mounting on Brad as he struggles to decide which four women he will escort home to meet their families. But first, the remaining six bachelorettes continue their adventurous trip around the world to the romantic Caribbean island of Anguilla. Emily soars to new heights with Brad on a helicopter tour of the island, but storm clouds gather for the couple when the possibility of a hometown date and the prospect of Brad meeting Emily's daughter are discussed. Then Shawntel and Brad use the island as their personal playground as this outspoken bachelorette makes her feelings known. Brad takes Britt for her first one-on-one date, and it's up to the Bachelor to make sure the romantic connection is electric. Finally, Ashley H., Chantal and Michelle get an early wake-up call from Brad to participate in a seductive shoot for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition. Emotions are raw and revealing -- in more ways than one -- but Brad has still another surprise for the women when he cancels the cocktail party.—ABC Publicity
- Welcome to a Valentine's Day edition of "The Bachelor." So much love, so few roses. We open on the island of Anguilla, which is oh-so beautiful, according to the remaining ladies. One thing is for certain: it is bikini season. "It's right out of 'Baywatch' or something," Ashley H. comments as the women run along the beach. Host Chris welcomes the women, promising "one of the best weeks of your life" and also one of the "most important." He hands the contestants a date card: beautiful Emily will have the first one-on-one date. Brad soon arrives with a -- surprise, surprise -- helicopter.
They fly over the island. "I definitely felt like I was on cloud nine," beautiful Emily says. "It was awesome." The pair arrives on a tiny private isle to have a picnic lunch. Brad confesses to being nervous around beautiful Emily. She understands -- and tells the bachelor that she doesn't want to have her heart broken. They make out until sunset. Back at the hotel, the next date card arrives: Shawntel is the next one-on-one winner. Britt is DEVASTATED. She feels as if she really, really deserved alone time with the Bradster. CUT to the private isle, where Brad and beautiful Emily sip wine. Brad straight-out asks if Emily would introduce him to her daughter. "I am overprotective," beautiful Emily explains. "I don't want to confuse her in any way." Brad says that he understands -- and promises to give beautiful Emily a rose at the next ceremony. "Right at this moment, I feel like I'm the happiest person in the world," she tells the camera.
The next day, Shawntel joins Brad at an area farmer's market. "This is like my perfect date and he had no idea," Shawntel tells the camera. The pair has a drink, jumps some rope and dances. Brad is SUPER impressed with Shawntel's go-get-em attitude. "I like how I feel when I'm with you," Brad confesses. Shawntel feels the same. "I've only told two guys in my life that I loved them," she says. "I'm definitely falling in love with you." Later that night, Brad and Shawntel eat dinner by the ocean. Suddenly, the conversation turns deep. Brad explains that his father has "just never been in the picture." He doesn't normally talk about such issues, which speaks highly of the dark-haired beauty. It begins to rain. They make out. Shawntel declares it the "most romantic moment of my life."
Back at the house, the next date card arrives: Britt is getting a one-on-one date! She is SUPER EXCITED. The next day, the bachelor picks up her special lady ... and takes her to a nearby yacht! "I can't believe it!" she exclaims. "It's not real!" It IS real -- and the other ladies, especially creepy Michelle, are extremely jealous. Brad and Britt set sail and eventually dock near a bay. They jump off rocks, swim and get close. Later, Brad asks Britt if she has ever been in love. She says that she has, but has trouble "opening up." Brad has noticed -- and wonders (to the camera) why he doesn't feel more for the lady. He then wonders out loud -- much to Britt's disappointment. "I have to tell you, I don't see a future with you tonight," the bachelor says. Goodbye, Britt. It's over. So Britt is forced to return to the hotel and pack her bags IN FRONT OF the other women. Cruel.
Later that night, the ladies go to bed -- and are woken up by Brad in the middle of the night. "Trust me," the bachelor says. "It's going to be fun." Brad takes the ladies to a house where a stylist waits -- and explains that the ladies will be in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue! "I'm freaking out," Chantal says. "I feel like a fat lard." So the women go through make up, don swimsuits and head to the beach. Ashley H. agrees to model for photos wearing conch shells over her naked breasts. Chantal rolls in the surf ... and then takes off her top. "Ashely and Chantal going topless were extremely hot -- there's no denying that," Brad comments. Michelle then asks to model with Brad. They make out while lying on the beach. Ashley H. and Chantal are FURIOUS. Afterward, Brad realizes that he has gone too far. "Unfortunately, the damage has been done," he says.
Later, the three go swimming -- and Brad declares the date "hell." Ashley H. tells the bachelor that she felt like the "kid sister" while watching creepy Michelle maul Brad. Chantal is equally disappointed and disconnected. "I've ruffled some feathers today," the bachelor tells the camera. Still, Brad has a rose to give away -- and awards it to Ashley H. She is OVERJOYED. Michelle, on the other hand, looks like someone has punched her in the stomach. Chantal begins to weep. Brad tries to console the lady, but to no avail.
Later, the women arrive at the cocktail party. Brad, meanwhile, tells host Chris that he has already made his decision -- no party is necessary. "I know who I'm going to say goodbye to," the bachelor explains. Host Chris breaks the news to the contestants. "If I go home tonight, I'm going to be &^%#ing pissed," creepy Michelle tells the camera. Chantal, meanwhile, is "scared out of my mind." The flower recipients, by the way, will take the bachelor home to meet their families -- so much is at stake. Without further ado, Brad gives flowers to ... beautiful Emily ... Shawntel ... and ... Chantal.
Meaning: goodbye to creepy Michelle, who appears less than pleased. She refuses to hold Brad's hand on the walk to the departing limo. "You want to talk?" the bachelor asks. Responds creepy Michelle: "No." So they don't talk -- at all. Creepy Michelle climbs into the limo and leaves. For once, she remains speechless. It's an anticlimactic exit. Brad, in the meantime, toasts to "family" with the other ladies. Until next week, America ...
