More good stories from The Paranormal Photography Club
ebiros226 October 2012
The story picks up from part 1 of this series. The three members of Shinrei Shashinbu (paranormal photography club), are involved in more incidents revolving around paranormal photographs that are submitted to their website.

The story is choppy, and doesn't flow as smoothly as they did in part 1. In episode 4, the falling woman, people commit suicide when they see or capture the picture of a ghost called falling woman. That's fine, but the trigger that caused her to appear is a homicide of a boy that a serial killer hid his body at the building where the falling woman started to appear. If the previous sentence was difficult to understand, you see the problem that I had with the story. The twists and turns on the story is overly convoluted, and it's difficult to follow what's going on. The other two stories are equally complex. The author (Osamu Fukutani) may have tried to cram too much story into the short story. They probably should have exploited the physical beauty of Shizuka Nakamura more too. They were more successful in this area in part 1.

So the tension of the story went down a notch compared to part 1, but the series seems to promise good concept, so I would like to see further development in the saga of the three club members. In fact, this might make an excellent TV series where each episodes can have more focused attention to their story.
