- Laszlo says that he doesn't understand why Baby Colin is unhappy, and that Baby Colin barely talks to him and when he does, it's unpleasant. He suggests to Baby Colin that they go to the zoo, but Baby Colin refuses. Laszlo notes that Baby Colin hasn't grown from a baby to a teen in just a week, and is unhappy on his play date.
Guillermo notes that Baby Colin is half an adult and half a baby, and emotionally all over the place. He tries to teach Baby Colin things, but Baby Colin isn't interested. The only thing that is of interest to him is hammering holes in the walls of his old basement room.
At Nadja's, Nadja complains that the club is a big steaming pile of shit now that Baby Colin isn't performing. They don't have enough money to repair the residence, The Guide wants to do an all-vampire rap battle, but Nadja warns that it isn't doable because vampires are too hot-headed. The human improvisational comedy troupe didn't go any better, because vampires don't get improve. Laszlo showcasing his songs didn't go well, either. They still make a little bit of income, mostly from Nadja embezzling, and making money from bachelorette parties and the haunted house with the Sire. Children's birthday parties are their biggest draws.
At the residence, Guillermo points out to Laszlo that at least Colin isn't a boring energy vampire. Laszlo would rather Colin was that then an "insolent monster". Nandor suggests that he can talk to Baby Colin his own language, because many of his soldiers were teenagers. He goes to Baby Colin's room where Baby Colin is pounding on the wall, and Nandor tries to get through to him. He doesn't, and Nandor suggests that one of the best way to rock out is to be polite to his elders. Baby Colin sarcastically thanks Nandor, who unwittingly leaves.
Nadja is showing vampire P.T. Barnum around the club, and the Guide approaches them and talks to Nadja privately. Baby Colin comes in and gives them a CD of his some songs that he burned for them. He suggests they could hang out sometime if they like the songs, and leaves. The Guide tells Nadja that she has seen some books in the Vampire Council library that she has learned the art of summoning the dead fro. She can only summon the souls of humans that she owns, and shows Nadja jars containing human souls. When the humans are reanimated, their bodies only last for 24 hours. She reanimated Scott Joplin, the king of ragtime,.
After Baby Colin steals Sean's car, he brings it back and Sean goes over and says that it's no big idea. Laszlo thinks that it is, and Baby Colin says that Laszlo hasn't told him anything about his background, and Laszlo insists that they don't know. Sean says that things are getting too heated, and he and his father used to fight the same way and nothing good come of it. He says that they're going to settle their differences, has them stand up and make eye contact, and then start winging. Guillermo stops them, and Baby Colin apologizes and then offers to get a tow truck and help get Sean's car back. Sean and Baby Colin go of, and Guillermo and Laszlo realize that Baby Colin is feeding on their anger. Laszlo figures he has to tell Baby Colin what he really is.
Nadja asks the Guide why she didn't tell her about her secret knowledge, and her collection of souls. The Greek vampire figures that the reanimated humans will be the show, onstage for one night only. Meanwhile, Scott Joplin plays the piano.
At the Talk History Night show, the Guide reanimates more souls. Nadja insists on winging it rather than doing homework on her speakers. Lady Shibiku, Tchaikovsky, and Da Vinci don't speak English.
At the residence, Laszlo tells Baby Colin that he's an energy vampire. Baby Colin realizes there's nothing he can do to change it, and Laszlo warns that it's not great. He says that he couldn't do anything to change it, and Baby Colin throws a temper tantrum and storms off.
Guillermo figures there's not much around the residence for him to do since Marwa is gone and Baby Colin has grown up, and considers himself an empty nester. He considers himself a hamster in a wheel, and asks Nandor if he needs anything. Nandor says that it's all good, and he appreciates being goof. Guillermo asks him if he feels that nothing changes around the residence, and figures it's wonderful. He's gotten back into reading books, and figures that he'll do it for the next 15-20 years.
Baby Colin turns on heavy metal and pounds on the walls.
Nadja figures they can do more Talks alone, record it, and broadcast it, and they can make money by selling advertising. Nadja has Gandhi promise Blue Apron, and stops Hemingway from interrupting. Unfortunately nobody listens and forcing Guillermo to listen doesn't make enough money. Nadja shuts down the club and sends the wraiths on vacation to Universal Orlando. She tells the camera crew to get out because it's over.
Baby Colin finds a box in the walls and opens it, and finds a letter and a slide.
Nadja sets the club on fire.
Baby Colin finds a slide projector and projects the slide. It shows numbers on the wall, and he pounds a hall at each spot. The wall breaks down, revealing a door. Baby Colin goes into the secret room and finds boxes of ledges and drab clothing. He sits down and read one of the ledgers.
The Guide comes back from a girl's night that Nadja sent her on, and says that if she had been there she might have put out the fire. She figures that it's lucky nothing got burned, because the blood sprinkler that nave never worked office. Nadja's office is the only room that got burned, because there were no sprinklers there. Nadja asks one of the firemen how much money she can get for the damaged office, and he says that it's too late for her to get insurance. She admits that she hasn't been making the best decisions lately because of the blood liquor she's been drinking, and discovers that the money she's been squirreling away burned.
Baby Colin's eye sight blurs, and he finds a pair of glasses in a drawer and puts them on. They help his eyesight and he goes back to reading.
Guillermo explains to Nadja how insurance works, and she wonders how much money she can get by setting him on fire. Colin comes into the room, his "normal" adult self, and he explains that he kept a detailed diary so if he forgets anything about his life, he could remember it. He starts boring them and then feeding on them, and they realize "their" Colin is back. He says that he has the PIN number for their bank account, and will be glad to micromanage the project to rebuild the residence.
He goes to work managing the workers, and Colin doesn't remember his "childhood", much to Laszlo's disappointment. Colin leaves, whistling a show tune, and a despondent Laszlo plays the piano.
Guillermo figures nothing ever changes in the residence, so he's leaving. He goes to the convenience store where Derek works, and gives him the money he's been hiding in return for making Guillermo a vampire.
