The Matron of a home for the elderly is murdered, two of its residents abscond the the same day she's discovered.
Well, this was certainly a bit different, I'm not sure what I thought of it, definitely watchable, just very bitty, not a lot of meat on the bone as it were.
Will, the dishy Vicar is boxing now, his libido was in check, for some or it.....not like any vicar I've ever come across, what next? An undercover mission to Moscow? Where does he get his energy from one wonders.
I did like the scene between Geordie and Kathy, the pair haven't had a real moment until this one, and it was great.
One disappointment this series, has been Geordie's new boss, he was all guns blazing in the first episode, he seemed destined to make life tough for Will and Geordie, but his character fizzled out into nothing.
Anna Calder-Marshall and Bruce Alexander are both wonderful, two incredibly familiar faces, that seem to have been around forever. The pair really do show how it should be done, Bonnie and Clyde.....with a twist.
There's a lot of strands to clear up next week.
As always it's watchable, once again though I just thought the story itself was disappointing, 6/10.
