When Simon (Marcos Gama) says his monologue in front of the window, someone is holding a paper with his dialogue outside so he could read it and say it word by word, for it was the only dialogue that he wasn't allowed to change.
The short was shot in two days and the overall production was completed in less than a month.
The house where the short was filmed is the oldest in the town of Caborca, Sonora in Mexico. It is over 100 years old.
The featured house didn't have any air conditioning and the short was made during summer when temperatures rise to over 50 degrees Celsius. The inside of the room was so hot that the actors and crew had to stop time to time to get some fresh air.
Marcos Gama is a real painter and an important one in Caborca. This marks his first time acting.
