"If I was you, I'd try playing grown-up myself for a little bit and talk to her"
skteosk8 September 2011
Warning: Spoilers
It's hard to take Michael's protests seriously here, as we've seen very little of him trying to be a good parent to Tasha in the past.In the end, his character development means he's just become a rubbish parent who realises he's a rubbish parent and instead of doing something about it he's decided to give up.Giving him a cute scene drinking wine with Lucas doesn't really repair the damage.

The relationship between Malcolm and Toadie, with the former troublemaker now the more mature one, is interesting and further contrasted by the scene between Malcolm and Lucas. It's a nice touch that Malcolm's lecture doesn't see Summer snap back to her usual straight-laced self and instead she lets Andrew talk her round. But the end of the episode is a bit of a mess.
