TWO DAYS EARLIER
Frank shows Victoria that Conrad transferred $10 million into Lydia's bank account.
Ashley tells Emily about Victoria and Frank looking into her possible involvement in the mother-daughter tea fiasco. She also mentions Daniel coming home drunk the night before. As a way to make it up to Victoria, Emily suggests Ashley find a way to get Victoria honored at the upcoming Open Arms charity event.
We see Emily look at an old newspaper headline of the airplane bombing. She recalls a letter from her father where he explains that Conrad and Victoria decided to make him the patsy for the crash to deflect attention from the fact Conrad had been laundering money for the terrorists.
Tyler's internship falls through and Conrad invites him to work at his company, along with Daniel. Conrad complains to Victoria about Daniel falling off the wagon.
Nolan drops by Emily's place and sneaks a knickknack onto her mantle. He tells her that Tyler was the problem with Daniel getting so drunk, all but force-feeding him drinks while remaining sober himself.
Conrad tells Victoria that he had to pay Lydia off since she has the power to "expose us."
Declan wants Jack to hire someone to help them run the bar.
Lydia drops by Emily's place and tells her that she's planning to contest the sale of the home. We see that the knickknack Nolan hid in the house contains a miniature video camera. Lydia sounds like she's going to come after Emily.
"We all have our South Fork Inn, Emily," Lydia coos, referring to the place where she got caught cheating with Conrad. "I just made it my mission to find yours."
Emily packs up some of Lydia's things to ship to her, including Nolan's hidden camera.
While getting ready for work Tyler mentions Conrad's affair with Lydia to Daniel, citing it as the main source of the tension in the Grayson household. Daniel did not know his father had cheated on his mother.
Victoria wants to spend more time with Charlotte to try and move past what happened at the tea. Charlotte still isn't ready to forgive her mother.
Charlotte signs for a present her father gave her mother. She steps out into the driveway to find a very expensive new car.
Daniel drops by the bar to get his credit card and apologize to Jack for the way he acted.
Emily makes an appearance at Victoria's weekly lunch. There, Ashley announces that this year's Open Arms events will honor the Victims United organization, a group started in honor of the plane crash victims that supports those impacted by terrorism around the world. It was originally endowed by Victoria and Conrad. Victoria is obviously uncomfortable by this, and Emily notices. Lydia stops by, uninvited, and bitterly congratulates Victoria. She adds that she wants to return to the "fold" and Victoria appears to accept her.
Conrad calls Victoria and asks how she likes the car. Cut to Charlotte at the bar showing Declan the $200,000 vehicle.
Lydia apologizes to Victoria and says she is her "only true friend," then leaves. After she's gone, Emily mentions Lydia's threat to Victoria. Emily also mentions finding a signed book that Dr. Banks gave to Lydia and points out Lydia was one of the only people whose sessions weren't exposed in the video.
Emily drops by Daniel's place, and they clear up the misunderstanding with the botched date the other night. They sit together and he tells her about his father cheating on his mother.
Victoria gives Charlotte the car. It doesn't help.
Tyler tells Daniel he lied to him about Emily to keep him from making a mistake. Daniel doesn't buy it.
Nolan notices that his video camera is now at Lydia's place. He's able to watch Conrad stopping by and yelling at her about her going to his house to see Victoria. She tells Conrad to help her get back on Victoria's good side and threatens to expose their framing of David Clark if he doesn't. Conrad responds by smashing a photograph of Victoria and Lydia together at a party, and storming out in a huff. When Lydia picks up the photo she notices what appears to be Emily in a wig, dressed as one of the caterers in the background.
Victoria tells Conrad and Frank she suspects Lydia was behind the tape. Frank is going to investigate her.
Nolan stops by and tells Emily that Lydia may be onto her, as Lydia is looking into rosters of a catering company that worked a New Year's Eve party several years ago. Emily explains that when she was just out of juvie, she wanted to look at the Graysons herself, and got hired by the company catering one of their events. Nolan then confesses to bugging her house because her father told him to look after her. She tells him to hack into the catering company's database and delete her name from the record.
At the Open Arms event, Emily implies to Victoria that the reason Daniel is not there is because of the problems with their relationship. Victoria is placed at the Victims United table.
We flashback to Victoria watching video of a mother that lost two sons in the crash. She told Conrad and Frank that she wants to help the victims. They opine that they don't think it's wise to expose the company that way.
Lydia makes another threat about getting her out of the house, informing Emily that she has found "her South Fork Inn." Emily calls Nolan, who says the catering company is faxing a copy of the employees roster to Lydia's house. Nolan tells her he'll go there and intercept the fax.
Cut to Frank snooping around Lydia's place. He finds the tea video, along with a copy of a speech she is supposedly going to give during the Open Arms event that will expose the Graysons. Frank calls Victoria with the information and they plan to handle it.
Lydia takes to the podium and, following a long venomous stare, innocently introduces Victoria and Conrad.
Charlotte and Declan are pulled over by the cops in the new car because Charlotte is speeding.
Daniel tells Conrad he doesn't want to follow his path. Angered, Conrad tells Daniel he's cutting him off from his trust fund until he comes around.
Meanwhile, Victoria tells Lydia that she can consider herself to be "back in the fold," but to make no mistake -- she despises Lydia. Victoria tells Lydia that every time she smiles at her, that she should consider that to be a sign of how much she despises her, and that every time they embrace, to think of the warmth she feels as Victoria's burning hatred for her former best friend. Victoria then hugs an uncomfortable-looking Lydia and says "good-bye."
Daniel tells Emily that his sister got arrested.
Frank is waiting for Lydia when she gets home. He accuses her of being behind "everything" and they begin to fight. The struggle spills over to the outside balcony, where she falls over the edge onto the roof of a car.
Nolan drops by and switches out the faxes. While he's there he grabs the photo. He hears sirens and looks down to see Lydia's body and a crowd gathering. He runs off.
At the police station Emily and Daniel appear to have made up. Jack shows up and isn't thrilled that Emily is there. The police thought Charlotte stole the car but everything has been worked out. Jack thanks Daniel for getting his brother off the hook and Daniel asks for a bartender job.
Back at Emily's place Daniel and Emily head to the bedroom.
Frank lets Victoria know that Lydia "jumped off her balcony."
Nolan goes to his computer and finds video of Frank fighting with Lydia. He leaves Emily a frantic message: "I think Frank just killed Lydia."
