In this episode I've felt like there were a few scenes that felt a little bit worse-done, "cheaper" than normal for the mini-series. The fishing trip was utterly bizarre; the two sides' riding to meet each other and some moments in the main battle overall were overlong and strange; Roseanna forgot that her dad still had other daughters... As a final absurdity, note that in the Hatfields' raid to capture Randall *Molotov cocktails* are used!
But overall it's a reasonably cool and appropriately violent ending. I really appreciated them having done these credits that showcase what the characters' lives were like after the end of the events depicted here: I last saw that feature in another American production about historical Americans, "The Pacific", but here I at least knew pretty much all characters by sight and could attest that their destinies lined up with their characterisations as depicted in the series: Johnse's was especially funny and appropriate.
