This episode was absolutely off the wall and I kind of liked it. We need a little bit of absurdity on television and this definitely provided plenty of that. We had a cult, we had cages, we had kids with different elvels of intelligence.

The show also did not delay Meg meeting her mother until the final moments of the season, so it was smart to do that. I don't know if there is any clear answer to how they should have handled it, but this was still an entertaining half hour of TV.

I know we are probably witnessing the last few episodes, but I wish they could do another year of Upright somehow.

Really reaching, with a silly half-arsed cult community. A low-point in the show and real waste of time of the buildup getting here. It's not even a real cult at that, just another one of Lucky's old mates getting his jollies. Because of that I get that it may be intended, but unlike last episode where the guest appearances were good, here the opposite. All these people are servants in order to leave their old life behind, but for what. So back home now, or will those in prior episodes reappear. The whole season feels like it's just being winged, until the finale where Lucky will likely arrive at the airport in time or whatever.

Maybe the episode would had been enlievend if Tina Turner turned up as Auntie Entity.

Lucky is still injured but he and Amy are reluctantly accepted by the Wellfulness Commune. The members have names after flora, put aside their past names and past lives. Ironically Apple phones are binned.

It does not take long for Amy and Lucky to realise that the people here are rather flaky. They find themselves locked in a room.

Although Amy does meet her mother which has caused both of them further trouble.

Eskimo Jonestown was a decent episode but there is nothing new here. A dodgy cult with some weirdos, as expected. Even the final reveal held no surprises.
