- Tory pays a price for defiance. Stingray does battle with his conscience. A celebratory night on the town takes a turn for Johnny, Daniel and Chozen.
- To celebrate their triumph on entering the tournament, Daniel, Johnny, Chozen, Louie, Amanda, and Carmen go out on the town. Bert tells the other about Ray's lying and they confront him, and Sam gets an insight into Tory's motives. Silver plots his revenge.—Gislef
- Miguel looks for Sam at the victory party at the Reseda Heights apartments, but is drawn into a crowd forming outside. Samantha is attacking Tory, who is trying to explain herself. Sam blames her for the suffering her family has endured at Cobra Kai's hands since the tournament, and refuses to hear her side. Robby and Miguel break them up, and Sam tells them she has been working for Kreese the entire time. She accuses Tory of being a coward and not coming forward sooner, and Tory, discouraged, leaves. Sam storms off as well, and Miguel and Robby discuss what to do.
The next day, Carmen and Johnny go to a sonogram appointment at the hospital, and they see a scan of their unborn child. While its still early, the couple are overjoyed at the sight, and the nurse gives them a picture of the scan. As they leave, Terry Silver gets on the elevator a couple floors below them. He congratulates Johnny on he and his "partner's" achievement, and Johnny demands to know how he knows about the baby. Silver was, in fact, referring to him and Daniel making it into the Sekei Taikai. He tells Johnny to savor his time with his family, and gets off the elevator. Johnny goes to LaRusso Auto and tells Daniel, Chozen, and Amanda about the encounter, but Daniel doesn't think he was there for Johnny. Until the tournament, Silver may leave them alone for a while. Amanda suggests a night off for them all, and Johnny, after accidentally revealing that Carmen cannot drink alcohol, tells them about the pregnancy. Daniel and Amanda are thrilled at the news, and Louie asks them to let him plan a night out as penance for destroying Johnny's old car. Anoush declines the invitation to join, and Louie tells the others and Chozen to be ready for a wild night on the town. At Miyagi-Do, the students discuss Tory's revelation. Miguel wants to tell their senseis, but Sam is worried about her dad's safety if they do. Of the people involved, the only person they might be able to get to is Stingray. Bert says that, although they are now in different dojos, Stingray is still his friend. He just might be able to convince him to recant his testimony. They go to find out where he lives and Miguel tries to talk to Sam about the night before, but Sam isn't ready to hash things out just yet.
At Cobra Kai, the students are being drilled by Kim Da Eun and Terry. With nowhere else to go, Tory has returned to the dojo, though her excuses for leaving the qualifiers do not satisfy her senseis, who make her train double time. Silver is angry at his enemy's intrusion during the Sekei Taikai board's visit, and promises to make them pay for interfering. Just then Robby enters into the dojo, and gets the attention of the students and senseis. Robby apologizes for leaving the way he did, for letting them down, and for not taking the rest of them out with him. He tries to tell them that Silver is their enemy, and warns them that Cobra Kai will only lead them down a dark path. Terry allows him to speak, but when he is done, demonstrates how his students respond to his own commands. He tells Robby that words will not break his students' loyalty. He orders his students to show no mercy if Robby or any of his friends set foot in the dojo from now on, and kicks Robby out. Kim Da Eun notes that Tory does not respond like the others.
That night, Louie uses his connections to get a party limo for the adult's celebratory night out. He takes Johnny, Carmen, Daniel, Amanda, and Chozen to a fancy club, which Louie is also able to get them into, and he asks Reggie, the driver, to wait outside for them. Chozen is tagged by the metal detectors, and is asked to leave his sais that he's brought with him outside. They head inside for drinks, and Daniel tells Chozen, who is still maintaining his self-imposed responsibility as the group's bodyguard, to relax and take the night off. Johnny tries to vary his usual beer preference, though is initially unimpressed by the badass-sounding White Claw. Louie gets some shots, and they toast to Carmen and Johnny. Meanwhile, Stingray is "Dojo" Mastering a game of Dungeons and Dragons at his apartment. He TPKs his entire party with a single hit from his homebrewed boss, Metalicus, and as his unhappy players leave, Bert arrives. Stingray is happy to see his friend, but less happy to see that he's brought Sam, Miguel, Hawk, and Demetri with him. Samantha tells him she knows he lied to the court and to Daniel, and demands he tell them the truth about what Silver did to him. At the nightclub, the adults (minus Carmen), are steadily getting more and more buzzed as the night goes on. They share stories of their encounters with eachother back in the day, and Chozen remarks that it is strange to think about how different they used to be. Daniel says it seems to have all worked out for the best. He leaves to get another round for everyone, and Amanda and Carmen go to dance, but Johnny stays to talk with Chozen. Chozen asks Johnny how he is feeling handling the whole situation, and Johnny admits that he used to think going back and changing his past would have fixed everything that went wrong in his life. But now he understands that his past doesn't have to define him, he has what he needs right in front of him. Chozen relates to having a past that he also regrets, and is happy Johnny has been able to find friends and even a family, something he himself has desired. Johnny asks him if he has someone waiting for him back home, and Chozen says that he is still a bachelor, though there is one woman he cares very much about.
At Cobra Kai, the students are finally allowed to leave for the day. All except Tory, who is told to stay behind. Silver puts her in front of a dummy, identical to the wooden one he forced a young Daniel to "train" on. This one however, is made of stone slabs. Kim orders Tory to destroy it, and Tory, calling it out as insane, tries to leave. The Fist stand in her way, and she is told she may go home only once the "lesson" is over. Tory tries to strike it, and hurts her hand. Kim mocks her efforts as weak, and as Tory keeps hitting it, Kim accuses her of being distracted by Robby. Tory denies that her feelings are getting in the way, her hand getting bloodier with every strike. Kim forces her to keep trying, telling her that she has allowed her feelings to make her soft. Tory furiously tells her that she broke up with Robby for Cobra Kai, and lashes out at her sensei. Kim dodges and Tory smashes right through the stone dummy, breaking her hand. Silver tells her to keep making the right decisions for the dojo, and the senseis leave her grasping her crushed hand in pain.
The Miyagi-Fangs try to get Stingray to admit who really hurt him, but Stingray is maintains his story. Sam tells him what her dad went through because of Silver, but Ray is worried that he will find out if he tells them the truth. To get around it, he has an idea, and tells them about his new "D&D campaign". He starts to tell them a story about a dwarven monk that made a deal with a silver-haired king to regain entry into his former guild, by framing the leader for assaulting him. Once the deed was done, he was let back into the "guild", and then some. He admits that he would give up his benefits that Silver gave him if he could, but now fears what the sensei would do to him to keep his power. He is just too scared to come forward. Samantha leaves, frustrated, and Miguel follows. He notes that she seems upset at him for kissing that girl the previous night, even though she was the one that wanted a break from their relationship, and from karate. She admits that she is angry that the last few months were based off of a lie. If she hadn't lost the tournament, maybe her family wouldn't have gone through so much, maybe the dojos wouldn't have been fractured, and maybe she wouldn't have broken up with him. She blames Tory for keeping her secret for as long as she did. Miguel tells Sam that she is the only one of any of them that has never had to train in Cobra Kai. She doesn't know what it's like, or how hard it must have been for Tory to confess what she knew to her at all, especially given their history. Now it's up to her to make the next move.
Later that night at the club, Johnny meets Daniel at the bar and talks to him about Chozen. Daniel says he feels bad that his friend doesn't have a date of his own, and Johnny tells him it's too bad that the woman he has a crush on, "Kokomo", is all the way back in Okinawa. Daniel realizes he's talking about Kumiko, and Johnny tells him that Chozen clearly has strong feelings for her. Johnny joins the ladies on the dance floor, and Daniel goes back to Chozen. He asks him about Kumiko, though Chozen was hoping Johnny wouldn't tell him. He says he knows how much she means to Daniel, and didn't want to make things awkward. Daniel is amazed to hear about this, and Chozen explains that when he and Kumiko were kids, they used to play hide and seek in the old castle. After his fight with Daniel, Chozen fell into a deep depression, but Kumiko found him and brought him back from the edge. He has kept his feelings hidden, however, feeling unworthy after what he did to her back then. Daniel tells him to stop punishing himself for his past. He has more than made amends, and Kumiko knows it too. Daniel encourages his friend to pursue a relationship with her. The two join the others for a dance, and Louie sees that Anoush has come with his date to the same club. However, his date happens to be Louie's sister, Vanessa. Louie starts a fight with his colleague, much to Vanessa's dismay. Outside, Chozen, emboldened by Daniel's blessing, calls Kumiko. He gets her voicemail, and tells her that things are going well on his mission. He asks to see her when he returns to Okinawa, and admits that he wishes he brought her with him. Realizing what he said, he hangs up quickly. Daniel, Johnny and Chozen decide to take the limo to another bar and continue their revelry, but Amanda and Carmen decide to call it a night.
Samantha goes to find Tory at her apartment, nursing her broken hand. Sam tells her she is willing to listen to her story, and Tory lets her in. Sam sees her rival's living conditions for the first time, including her invalid mother on life support in the other room. Tory explains that all she wanted was to win the tournament and prove that she could be a champion. But seeing Silver pay off the referee tore her apart inside. To get back at Silver she listened to Kreese, but he let her down too. Now she is stuck in Cobra Kai under Silver and his maniac senseis. Sam didn't realize what she was dealing with, and offers to help. She tells her about Stingray's story, but since he won't go to the police they have no proof of what Silver did. Tory didn't know that Silver himself assaulted Ray, and realizes that there may actually be evidence that can bring him down once and for all.
Silver is having a drink with Kim Da Eun at his home, and asks her why she came down so hard on Tory. Kim says that Tory doesn't show as much promise as their younger students, like Kenny and Devon. Terry comments that youth is the one thing money cannot buy. But as long as his plan succeeds, Cobra Kai will live on forever. Kim remarks that his enemies will try and stop him, but Silver vows he won't let them get in his way again.
In the party limo, Daniel, Johnny, and Chozen drunkenly jam out to Eye of the Tiger. At the club, Anoush and Louie make up, as Louie agrees to let Anoush date his sister. Reggie runs up and asks him where the limo is, and the two men wonder who is driving if Reggie is here. Deep on a wooded road, Daniel notices that they should have made it to their destination by now, but the driver won't respond to him through the window. Chozen finds the doors locked, and they realize that they've been hijacked. The limo drives faster and more dangerously, and the three men start to panic as they go careening toward an unknown destination.
