- Loosely based off the seven deadly sins, The WitcHunt takes you through the day in the life of seven different people living with their own personal struggles.
- The plot, based on actual events, follows seven fictional characters in the historical city of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Loosely based off the seven deadly sins; 'gluttony' (Dr Charles Ligget); 'lust' (Gary Pirraglia); 'envy' (Lisa Belue); 'anger' (Derek Thomas); 'pride' (Ashley Floyd); 'sloth' (Andrew Perkins) & 'greed' (Philip Wells as Herr Schwein), The WitcHunt takes you straight to the intersection of sanity and insanity.
Entering into the life of each person, you gradually see their inner secrets and struggles. Despite greed (Herr Schwein) being the glue that connects each character-each person discovers they are consumed with their actions and tortured by their own minds. Showing scenes of excess, desire, resentment, violence, indolence, selfishness & shame, the reality of everyday life ultimately takes each person to the breaking point and asks the very tough question 'Before pointing your finger at someone else, what is it that consumes your mind and heart? What are your inner secrets and struggles?'
Moving towards the end of the film we start to see how close we all are to the brutal Herr Schwein, and how the twist and turn of our own minds decide the fine line between insanity, reality and the search for the unknown!
White Collar Sideshow provides the soundtrack to this strange and unusual play on the mind, and intertwines the audio to film with pure genius! As the movie comes to a close, you start to recognize that the music and film, as a full concept, combine to illustrate and demonstrate that attitudes and perspectives can be completely different and change is in the eye of the beholder. True character is who you are behind closed doors!
